In this course, students will be able to relate to words and expressions from the Bhagavad Gītā in the following areas:
In this course, students will expand their grammar to include sannanta, kārakam and taddhita pratyaya. The course will examine the Bhagavad Gītā concepts and ślokas from Chapter 5 and 6 through anvaya translations and articulation of the meanings in Saṃskṛtam. As part of this course students will also discuss and correlate how self-control is essential in the modern society and lifestyle
Students will have a dedicated 1.5 hours of contact time with the faculty each week. The class is carefully structured to facilitate effective learning in an online face-to-face format. The curriculum is designed to build upon the knowledge gained in previous classes. Regular homework assignments will provide valuable opportunities to practice the concepts covered in class. Successful completion of the course requires the submission of graded homework and the final Quarter End Exam (QEE).
